Tragopogon porrifolius subsp. macrocephalus merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Maroko hingga Aljazair. Nama ilmiah Tragopogon porrifolius subsp. macrocephalus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Jules Aimé Battandier pada tahun 1889.
