Tragopogon pterocarpus adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran) yang memiliki siklus hidup dua musim (biennial). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Mediterania timur hingga Iran. Nama ilmiah Tragopogon pterocarpus diperkenalkan oleh Augustin Pyramus de Candolle pada tahun 1838.
