Tragopogon subacaulis merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Türkiye barat. Nama ilmiah Tragopogon subacaulis diperkenalkan oleh Otto Karl Anton Schwarz pada tahun 1934.
