Trapa natans var. japonica adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Lythraceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Korea, Jepang. Nama ilmiah Trapa natans var. japonica diperkenalkan oleh Takenoshin Nakai pada tahun 1942.
