Trichilia emetica merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Meliaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di kawasan tropis Afrika dan Afrika Selatan, Jazirah Arab. Nama ilmiah Trichilia emetica pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Martin Vahl pada tahun 1790.
