Trichodesma microcalyx merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Boraginaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Socotra (Pegunungan Hajhir). Nama ilmiah Trichodesma microcalyx diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Isaac Bayley Balfour pada tahun 1883.
