Trichodesma scottii merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Boraginaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Socotra. Nama ilmiah Trichodesma scottii diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Isaac Bayley Balfour pada tahun 1883.
