Trichodesma zeylanicum var. grandiflorum merupakan tumbuhan semusim dari famili Boraginaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma gurun pasir atau sabana kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Australia Barat bagian hingga Northern Territory. Nama ilmiah Trichodesma zeylanicum var. grandiflorum diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Barbara Rae Randell pada tahun 1993.
