Trichomanes fallax adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan epifit dari famili Hymenophyllaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari kawasan tropis Afrika bagian barat, Uganda, Madagaskar, hingga Réunion. Nama ilmiah Trichomanes fallax pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Konrad Hermann Heinrich Christ pada tahun 1909.
