Trichomanes polypodioides merupakan tumbuhan epifit dari famili Hymenophyllaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari wilayah sepanjang Meksiko selatan hingga kawasan tropis Amerika. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan jeweled bristle fern. Nama ilmiah Trichomanes polypodioides pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carolus Linnaeus dalam Species Plantarum tahun 1753.
