Trichomanes schlechteri merupakan tumbuhan epifit dari famili Hymenophyllaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Kalimantan, Papuasia, hingga Vanuatu. Nama ilmiah Trichomanes schlechteri pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Guido Georg Wilhelm Brause pada tahun 1912.
