Trichomanes tahitense merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Hymenophyllaceae. Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan tumbuh menempel di pohon lain (epifit) atau di bebatuan (litofit). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Nansei-shoto hingga Maluku dan Pasifik. Nama ilmiah Trichomanes tahitense pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Jean Nadeaud pada tahun 1873.
