Trichosanthes costata Blume

Trichosanthes costata merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Cucurbitaceae (suku labu-labuan) yang memiliki pola tumbuh memanjat. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari anak benua India hingga China selatan dan kawasan Malesia. Di Indonesia tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan nama manisan, kemarogan (Jawa), atau timput pulau (Sumatra). Nama ilmiah Trichosanthes costata diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Carl Ludwig Blume pada tahun 1826.
