Trichoscypha smythei merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Anacardiaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Guinea hingga Pantai Gading. Nama ilmiah Trichoscypha smythei pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis John Hutchinson pada tahun 1928.
