Trichospira verticillata adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Meksiko selatan hingga kawasan tropis Amerika. Nama ilmiah Trichospira verticillata pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Sidney Fay Blake pada tahun 1915.
