Trichostema lanceolatum adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan semusim dari famili Lamiaceae (suku nilam-nilaman). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Oregon hingga Meksiko (Baja California). Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan vinegarweed. Nama ilmiah Trichostema lanceolatum pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis George Bentham pada tahun 1835.
