Trichostigma octandrum adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan perdu atau pohon dari famili Petiveriaceae. Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan tumbuh menjalar. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di kawasan tropis dan subtropis Amerika . Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan hoopvine. Nama ilmiah Trichostigma octandrum pertama kali dipublikasikan pada tahun 1909.
