Trichotosia buruensis merupakan tumbuhan epifit dari famili Orchidaceae (suku anggrek-anggrekan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Maluku (Pulau Buru). Nama ilmiah Trichotosia buruensis diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Johannes Jacobus Smith pada tahun 2002.
