Trifidacanthus unifoliolatus merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Hainan, Vietnam, Filipina, hingga Kepulauan Nusa Tenggara. Nama ilmiah Trifidacanthus unifoliolatus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Elmer Drew Merrill pada tahun 1917.
