Triplaris weigeltiana merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Polygonaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di kawasan tropis Amerika selatan. Nama ilmiah Triplaris weigeltiana pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Heinrich Gottlieb Ludwig Reichenbach pada tahun 1898.
