Tripogon filiformis adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari anak benua India, China tengah dan selatan, Jawa, hingga Kepulauan Nusa Tenggara. Nama ilmiah Tripogon filiformis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Christian Gottfried Daniel Nees von Esenbeck pada tahun 1854.
