Tripogon nicorae merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma gurun pasir atau sabana kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Peru hingga Argentina barat laut. Nama ilmiah Tripogon nicorae pertama kali dipublikasikan pada tahun 2004.
