Tripterocalyx wootonii merupakan tumbuhan semusim dari famili Nyctaginaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma gurun pasir atau sabana kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Utah timur dan tenggara hingga New Mexico barat dan barat laut. Nama ilmiah Tripterocalyx wootonii pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Paul Carpenter Standley pada tahun 1909.
