Tripterospermum discoideum merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Gentianaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah China (Sichuan timur, Hubei barat, Shaanxi selatan). Nama ilmiah Tripterospermum discoideum pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Cecil Victor Boley Marquand pada tahun 1965.
