Tristachya pedicellata merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Provinsi Utara (Northen). Nama ilmiah Tristachya pedicellata pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Sydney Margaret Stent pada tahun 1923.
