Trithuria occidentalis merupakan tumbuhan air (hidrofit) dari famili Hydatellaceae yang hidup semusim. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Australia barat-barat-daya. Nama ilmiah Trithuria occidentalis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis George Bentham pada tahun 1878.
