Triticum timopheevii adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan semusim dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Türkiye bagian tenggara hingga Iran barat laut. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan timopheev's wheat. Nama ilmiah Triticum timopheevii pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Peter Mikhailovich Zhukovsky pada tahun 1928.
