Triumfetta mexiae merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Malvaceae (suku kapas-kapasan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Meksiko (México State, Michoacán, Guerrero). Nama ilmiah Triumfetta mexiae pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Conrad Vernon Morton pada tahun 1950.
