Tropaeolum brachyceras merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Tropaeolaceae yang memiliki kebiasaan membentuk umbi di bawah tanah (geofit) dan berpola tumbuh memanjat. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Chili tengah. Nama ilmiah Tropaeolum brachyceras diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama William Jackson Hooker pada tahun 1830.
