Tropaeolum lepidum var. luteum adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Tropaeolaceae yang memiliki kebiasaan membentuk umbi di bawah tanah (geofit) dan berpola tumbuh memanjat. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Chili (Aconcagua). Nama ilmiah Tropaeolum lepidum var. luteum pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Karl Friedrich Reiche pada tahun 1896.
