Tropaeolum pentaphyllum subsp. megapetalum merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Tropaeolaceae yang memiliki kebiasaan membentuk umbi di bawah tanah (geofit) dan berpola tumbuh memanjat. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Bolivia. Nama ilmiah Tropaeolum pentaphyllum subsp. megapetalum pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Franz Georg Philipp Buchenau pada tahun 1972.
