Trophis cuspidata merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Moraceae (suku ara-araan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Meksiko (Hidalgo hingga Chiapas) hingga Guatemala. Nama ilmiah Trophis cuspidata pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Cyrus Longworth Lundell pada tahun 1938.
