Turnera elliptica merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Passifloraceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Brazil (Minas Gerais). Nama ilmiah Turnera elliptica diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Ignatz Urban pada tahun 1883.
