Turnera velutina merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Passifloraceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Meksiko. Nama ilmiah Turnera velutina pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Borivoj Presl pada tahun 1831.
