Turraea nilotica merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Meliaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Ethiopia barat daya hingga Eswatini. Nama ilmiah Turraea nilotica pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Georg Theodor Kotschy pada tahun 1867.
