Ulex argenteus subsp. subsericeus adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan perdu atau perdu kecil dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Portugal selatan hingga Spanyol barat daya. Nama ilmiah Ulex argenteus subsp. subsericeus diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama António Xavier Pereira Coutinho pada tahun 1941.
