Ulex densus merupakan tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Portugal barat-tengah. Nama ilmiah Ulex densus diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Friedrich Welwitsch pada tahun 1852.
