Ulmus laevis merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Ulmaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Eropa hingga Siberia barat dan Türkiye barat laut. Nama ilmiah Ulmus laevis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Peter Simon von Pallas pada tahun 1784.
