Umbilicus patens merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Crassulaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Afrika utara. Nama ilmiah Umbilicus patens pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Auguste Pomel pada tahun 1875.
