Uraria pulchra merupakan tumbuhan perdu atau perdu kecil dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah India (Bihar barat laut). Nama ilmiah Uraria pulchra pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Henry Haselfoot Haines pada tahun 1921.
