Uraria rufescens adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan) yang hidup menahun. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di kawasan Asia tropis dan subtropis. Nama ilmiah Uraria rufescens pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Augustin Pyramus de Candolle pada tahun 1925.
