Urera kaalae adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Urticaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Kepulauan Hawaii (Oahu). Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan opuhe. Nama ilmiah Urera kaalae pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Heinrich Wawra von Fernsee pada tahun 1874.
