Urochloa advena merupakan tumbuhan semusim atau menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Queensland tenggara hingga New South Wales timur laut. Nama ilmiah Urochloa advena diperkenalkan oleh Joyce Winifred Vickery pada tahun 1987.
