Urochloa oligotricha merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Eritrea hingga Afrika Selatan. Nama ilmiah Urochloa oligotricha mulai dipublikasikan pada tahun 1941.
