Urochloa platyrrhachis adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan semusim dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari RD Kongo bagian selatan hingga Zambia. Nama ilmiah Urochloa platyrrhachis diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Charles Edward Hubbard pada tahun 1934.
