PRICKLY GOLDENFLEECE Urospermumpicroides (L.) Scop. ex F.W.Schmidt
Urospermum picroides merupakan tumbuhan semusim dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Macaronesia, Mediterania, Iran, hingga Jazirah Arab. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan prickly goldenfleece. Nama ilmiah Urospermum picroides pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Giovanni Antonio Scopoli pada tahun 1795.
