Utricularia breviscapa merupakan tumbuhan air (hidrofit) dari famili Lentibulariaceae yang hidup semusim. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Kuba, kawasan tropis Amerika selatan. Nama ilmiah Utricularia breviscapa pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Charles Wright pada tahun 1866.
