Vachellia abyssinica subsp. calophylla merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Sudan Selatan hingga kawasan tropis Afrika bagian selatan. Nama ilmiah Vachellia abyssinica subsp. calophylla diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama John Patrick Micklethwait Brenan pada tahun 2013.
