Vachellia campeachiana merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Meksiko, Honduras, hingga Kuba timur. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan boatthorn acacia atau spoon-thorn acacia.
