Valeriana cyclophylla merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Caprifoliaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Meksiko tengah. Nama ilmiah Valeriana cyclophylla pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Karl Otto Robert Peter Paul Graebner pada tahun 1906.
